Mother's plea as new CCTV released of missing teen

New CCTV footage of a 14-year-old girl who disappeared more than two months ago has been released, prompting an emotional plea from her mother.

Nyla Primeau went missing from Woodinville, Washington, on August 19, triggering a search by the King County Sheriff's Office. Investigators have now been directed to security footage captured in Seattle on September 17, nearly a month after she vanished.

Last confirmed sighting

The footage shows Nyla in the city's Capitol Hill neighborhood at around midday. She is seen wearing a black Fear of God Essentials hoodie, grey joggers, and a white backpack.

The sighting was recorded around 20 miles from her home in Woodinville and is now considered the last confirmed sighting of the teenager.

Mother's emotional plea

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children has renewed its appeal for information, believing Nyla may still be in the area. Following the release of the new footage, her mother, Rachel Primeau, issued an emotional plea, saying she remains increasingly concerned about her daughter's safety and hopes the clip could help bring her home.

She said: "Nyla, you are so loved and missed, and I will never stop waiting for your return. You are irreplaceable and the only thing I think and pray about. I love you from the depths of my soul."

Previous disappearance and description

It is not the first time Nyla has been reported missing, according to local reports. She was reported missing from Port Townsend on July 19, with reports suggesting she may have been seen around the greater Seattle area, including White Center and Burien.

Nyla is described as five feet five inches tall and weighing approximately 130 pounds. She has green eyes and was last known to have brown hair, although she frequently dyes it.

Authorities have not revealed where Nyla may have gone following the CCTV footage or what she was doing in Capitol Hill. Anyone with information can contact the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678 or the King County Sheriff's Office at 206-296-3311.
