Police investigating the disappearance of Andrew Gosden have seized numerous devices from two men arrested on suspicion of kidnap and human trafficking. The electronics could take up to a year to analyse, officers said.
Andrew, 14, from Doncaster, was last seen on 14 September 2007. The men, aged 38 and 45, were arrested in London on 8 December with assistance from the Metropolitan Police. The older man was also arrested on suspicion of possessing indecent images of children.
Andrew's father, Kevin Gosden, said the arrests had intensified the family's "emotional journey". In a statement, he said: "We understand that police investigations will take several months to complete, so until that is the case, we do not know what to think and do not wish to speculate on any possible outcome."
On the day of his disappearance, Andrew skipped school, withdrew nearly £200 from his bank account, and bought a one-way ticket to London. He was last seen on CCTV arriving at King's Cross Station. His motive for travelling to London has never been established.
