Missing Manchester Teen Jessica Found After Month

A 16-year-old girl who had been missing for almost a month has been found following a family plea.

Jessica, from Denton, Greater Manchester, was last seen getting off a bus at Piccadilly Gardens on the evening of July 16. She visited Granada Park earlier in the day before boarding the bus from Windsor Road.

Police Confirm Jessica Found

Her aunt had issued a heartfelt message for Jessica to return home earlier this month, and now police have confirmed she has been found.

A GMP spokesperson said: "We can confirm that Jessica, who was missing from home, has been found. Thank you to all who shared our appeal and was out helping us locate her."

Extensive Search Efforts

Extensive enquiries had taken place to find Jessica in recent weeks, with multiple public appeals made. The force checked CCTV and body-worn camera footage to trace her movements.

Family's Plea

In a heartbreaking plea for Jessica to return home, her aunt told the Manchester Evening News earlier this month: "I want her to know, do not worry about a thing. It is OK. Come home, pick up the phone, call someone, if you are in trouble, try and get help."

She added: "She has a good heart, she is fun, she's very intelligent and loves singing and music. I'm worried for her safety, thinking, where is she? But I don't have a clue where she could be. I don't know who she knows or who her friends are. We've been crying and losing sleep over it."
