Up to 18 migrants reportedly fled into the darkness after a boat landed in Cornwall in the early hours of Sunday. Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed that two Albanian men were arrested at the remote Mylor Harbour, about six miles from Falmouth.
Boat arrival and arrests
Locals said up to 18 people got into a van and fled the area. Several local sources reported that 20 individuals were onboard a 33ft yacht, and that 18 entered a van and left.
Police response
Police were called to the scene, and two Albanian men were taken into custody. The incident is being treated as a breaking news story and is subject to updates.
