Merseyside Police have appealed for the public's help in tracing 34 men currently wanted by the force. The list includes convicted drug dealers, dangerous drivers and burglars, wanted for reasons ranging from failing to attend court to breaching licence conditions and recall to prison.
The most high-profile individual on the list is Karl O'Hare, who has been wanted since 2003 in connection with the murder of his father John and the attempted murder of his mother Diane. The couple were attacked at their home in Birch Close, Oxton, on December 11, 2002. Diane died in 2019 as a result of her serious injuries.
High-Profile Case and Court History
O'Hare, 42, failed to appear at Liverpool Crown Court for a pre-trial hearing in 2003. In 2004, his brother Mark Williams, then 25, was found guilty of manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility and attempted murder, and sentenced to life. Williams was subsequently found hanged at Ashworth Hospital in 2014.
O'Hare is described as white, 6ft tall and, when last seen, had short brown hair and a goatee. His current appearance is not known. He has links to Northern Ireland and Scotland.
Other Wanted Individuals
Among the others sought are men wanted on recall to prison for breaching licence conditions, including Rio Inglesby, 22, from Liverpool, recalled after serving part of a prison sentence for drug supply offences, and Michael Paul Rawlings, 36, from Toxteth, recalled for poor behaviour and failing to attend appointments after a sentence for dangerous driving.
Others include Jack Roach, 23, from Woodchurch, and Jake Kinsella, 32, from Knotty Ash, both wanted on prison recall after breaching licence conditions following sentences for drug offences. David Kelly, 47, from Newsham Park, and Michael Gallagher, 38, from Tranmere, are also wanted for breaching licence conditions after sentences for burglary offences.
How to Report Information
Anyone who sees O'Hare or any of the other men on the list can contact Merseyside Police or Crimestoppers anonymously. The force has advised the public not to approach some of the wanted men, including Peter Neary and Lee Hickman, and to call 999 immediately with any sightings.
