South Wales Police have confirmed the recovery of a 52-year-old man's body from the River Tawe in Swansea. Officers were called to the scene near New Cut Road at approximately 08:00 GMT on Thursday.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained, but authorities have stated there are no suspicious circumstances. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
The force has not released the identity of the deceased, pending formal identification and notification of next of kin. An investigation is ongoing.
