Body Discovered on Major Scottish Road

Police in Scotland are investigating the unexplained death of a man whose body was discovered beside a major road in the north-east of the country.

The grim discovery was made at approximately 12:20 pm on Wednesday, 26 November 2025. The body was found on a stretch of the A90 that runs between the towns of Brechin in Angus and Laurencekirk in Aberdeenshire.

While formal identification procedures are still pending, authorities have confirmed that the family of Kenneth Unsworth has been notified of the discovery.

Mr Unsworth, 46, had been reported missing from the Merseyside area. He was last seen on Thursday, 20 November, leaving the town of Huyton.
