Funeral Arrangements Announced for Man Found Dead on A90

The family of Kenneth 'Kenny' Unsworth, whose body was discovered off the A90 in Scotland, have released a new photograph and confirmed his funeral details. The 46-year-old from Huyton, Merseyside, was reported missing on November 22, 2025, after last being seen leaving his home two days earlier.

Police Scotland recovered a body at approximately 12.20pm on November 26 in an area off the A90 between Brechin and Laurencekirk. The remains were later identified as Mr Unsworth, and the death is being treated as unexplained. Enquiries are ongoing.

In a statement, his nephew described him as 'a lifelong Huyton lad who was tragically taken from us' and 'a kind loving man that didn’t have a bad bone in his body'. Tributes on social media remembered him as a 'boss lad' and a devoted Liverpool fan.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, with a service at St Agnes Church in Huyton at 2.45pm, followed by cremation at St Helens Crematorium at 4pm. The wake will be held at The Seel Arms in Huyton.
