Man Dies on Manchester Street After Medical Episode at Nightclub

A man in his 20s has died after suffering a medical episode at a nightclub in Manchester city centre. Emergency services were called to Portland Street at approximately 5:45am on Saturday, where they found the man unconscious.

Despite efforts by paramedics to resuscitate him, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Greater Manchester Police have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

It is understood that staff at a nearby nightclub helped the man leave the venue shortly before closing time because he was feeling unwell. They later checked on him just before he died.
