Man in 40s dies after M60 police incident near Trafford Centre

A man in his 40s has died following an incident on the M60 in Greater Manchester. Greater Manchester Police said officers were called to concerns for a person's welfare on the motorway near Trafford Centre.

Road closed during morning rush hour

All traffic was stopped on the clockwise carriageway between junctions 10 at Urmston and 11 at Eccles at around 7.30am on Wednesday morning. The closure affected the stretch of motorway near Trafford Park and Eccles.
