A man was taken to hospital for treatment after a stabbing in Whalley Range. Greater Manchester Police officers were called to reports of an incident on Demesne Road at midnight on Friday, September 11.
Emergency services attend the scene
Residents reported seeing a number of police cars, ambulances and helicopters within the area. Emergency services attended and the man was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police statement and ongoing enquiries
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "At midnight on Friday (11/09/2026), we were called to reports of a stabbing at Demesne Road, Whalley Range."

The man has since been discharged from hospital, it is understood.
