Dyfed-Powys Police have confirmed that a man was found dead in public toilets in Newtown on Saturday, August 8. The man, aged 51, was located within a toilet block on Back Lane.

Police Response and Confirmation

Officers were called to the scene after receiving a report concerning the man's welfare. Upon arrival, they found the man deceased. His next of kin and HM Coroner have been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious. A police spokesperson said: "Dyfed-Powys Police received a report concern for the welfare of a 51-year-old man located within a public toilet, on Back Lane, Newtown on Saturday, August 8. Sadly, the man had passed away. His next of kin and HM Coroner have been informed. His death is not being treated as suspicious."
