A man was found collapsed with serious injuries on a street in Hulme, police have revealed as an investigation to determine the circumstances continues.
GMP have issued an appeal for the public's help and want to hear from any witnesses or those with video doorbell footage.
Man found on Stretford Road
The man was found by police officers on Friday morning (August 28) near an estate agent at the corner of Stretford Road and Royce Road in Hulme.
In a social media post, GMP Trafford said he remained in hospital for treatment. His exact condition - or the injuries he sustained - haven't been detailed.
Police said he was seen earlier walking from the direction of the Church of Ascension.
Police appeal for witnesses
In a Facebook post, GMP Trafford said: "Officers are appealing for witnesses following an incident on Stretford Road on Friday."
"Detectives are currently conducting an investigation after a man was discovered with serious injuries in the Hulme area of Manchester."
"The man was identified by officers on the corner of Stretford Road and Royce Road and is currently in hospital receiving medical treatment. He is described as a white male, aged 41, and of slim build."
"He was seen at around 11.30am walking from the direction of the Church of Ascension before collapsing outside George Adams Estate Agents at the junction of Stretford Road and Royce Road, near to the borders of Hulme and Trafford, when he was discovered by officers."
"Detectives are appealing for information to assist with their enquiries into the circumstances leading up to the man's collapse."
