Man dies in Salford after falling from height on Stanley Street

A man has died following a concern for welfare incident on Stanley Street in Salford. A large emergency services response was triggered at around 9.45pm on Wednesday evening (August 26), with police and paramedics called to the scene.

Police cordon near Novella apartment building

Officers placed a cordon on the street near the Novella apartment building. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the force responded to reports of concern for the welfare of a man.

The man sadly died at the scene. The Manchester Evening News understands he is believed to have fallen from height.
