A man has died after his car crashed into a pensioner's home in Peterborough, leaving a woman in her 70s injured.

Richard Woollard, 40, from Werrington, Peterborough, was pronounced dead at the scene following the incident on Paston Ridings. The collision also left a woman in her 70s, who was inside the house at the time, injured. She was taken to hospital for treatment.
