Tribute from Daughter

His daughter, Megan Tickner, paid a heartfelt tribute to him on Facebook, stating: “It is with a heavy heart and immense sadness that I am having to share that we lost my Dad on Saturday May 30. A week ago, he was unfortunately a victim of a serious assault which left him with head injuries which were so severe he could not recover from them. He lit up any room he walked into and was a bubbly, joyful soul. I will cherish the memories of us going to concerts together and singing karaoke. I’ll love and miss you always Dad.”

Arrest and Investigation

A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after he attended hospital on Tuesday, May 26. Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
