Man Charged With Murder After Tottenham Double Stabbing Attack

A man has been charged with murder following a double stabbing in Tottenham, north London, that left one man dead and another injured.

The Metropolitan Police were called to West Green Road at approximately 16:00 GMT on Tuesday after reports of a stabbing. Officers found a man in his 20s with stab wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

A second man, also in his 20s, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He has since been discharged.

Police charged a 23-year-old man with murder and possession of an offensive weapon. He is due to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

A crime scene remains in place in the area as detectives continue their inquiries.
