
A man has been arrested in connection with a suspected murder after a woman was found dead in a Southwark flat, sparking a major police investigation.
Officers were called to the scene in the SE16 area of London following reports of an unresponsive woman. Despite the efforts of emergency services, she was pronounced dead at the location.

Metropolitan Police have confirmed a man in his 30s has been taken into custody on suspicion of murder. Forensic teams remain at the property as detectives work to establish the circumstances surrounding the woman's death.
