A 26-year-old man has been arrested in San Antonio, Texas, for allegedly making terroristic threats against Erika Kirk, the CEO of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), and other speakers ahead of a scheduled event. The suspect, identified as Jacob Wenske, faces two felony counts of making a terroristic threat causing public fear.
Details of the Threats
According to investigators, Wenske posted threatening comments on social media, including a Facebook comment about bombing an event and acting as a valet for an 'escort' at a TPUSA Women’s Leadership Summit. Further alleged threats were made in a January 2026 email, where Wenske reportedly wrote, 'Death to Erika Kirk and every single speaker there!!' and mentioned a bombing at TPUSA events.
Investigation and Arrest
Investigators confirmed Wenske's identity through multiple data points and noted a pattern of hostile and threatening posts targeting individuals associated with Turning Point USA. He was arrested and booked at Bexar County jail, with a combined bond set at $120,000.
The arrest comes ahead of a TPUSA event in San Antonio, which Kirk was expected to attend. It remains unclear if the event will proceed as planned.
