A man was arrested after climbing onto a roof in New Brighton during a police stand-off. Emergency services responded to reports of a man on a roof on Field Road on Wednesday, August 5.
Police Response and Arrest
Merseyside Police arrived at around 6.45pm. The man came down from the roof at 8.15pm. A 40-year-old man from New Brighton was arrested on suspicion of a domestic section 47 assault. He was taken into custody for questioning.
