Police cars and vans were sent to a primary school in Glasgow on Monday after reports of a disturbance. A 45-year-old man was arrested at the scene and has been charged in connection with the incident.
Officers were called to Burndyke Court, outside Govan Gaelic Primary School, at around 9am. A dozen police officers could be seen responding to the incident in a video shared on social media. In the clip, several officers were seen in discussion with each other while others spoke to members of the public. Emergency vehicles were seen lining the streets outside the school.
Arrest and charges
The man, aged 45, was arrested at the scene and has now been charged in connection with the incident, according to the Daily Record. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9am on Monday, August 31 police were called to a report of a man causing a disturbance in the Burndyke Court area of Glasgow.
“Officers attended and a 45-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.”
