Police have launched a major search for a missing 14-year-old girl, Arianna, who was last seen walking in Winchester city centre on Wednesday evening. The teenager was spotted on Fairfield Road at around 9.50pm, but there has been no sign of her since.
Arianna is described as white, approximately 5ft 4ins tall, with a slim build and long blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a black North Face puffer style jacket over a light grey jumper, and black tracksuit bottoms.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary have expressed concern for her welfare and are urging anyone with information to come forward. A spokesperson said: 'We are concerned for her welfare and are asking anyone who has seen her or knows where she is to contact police immediately.'
Members of the public have shared the appeal on social media, with one person writing: 'Shared. Hoping and praying that she's found soon, safe and sound.' Another added: 'I hope she gets found soon, she's my daughter's friend.'
