Influencer Klaudia Zakrzewska Dies After Soho Car Crash

Social media influencer Klaudia Zakrzewska has died six days after being hit by a car outside a nightclub in Soho, London. The 32-year-old, known as Klaudiaglam on TikTok and Instagram, was struck on Argyll Street at about 4.30am on 19 April and pronounced dead on Saturday.

A 58-year-old man also suffered life-changing injuries in the incident. Gabrielle Carrington, a former X Factor finalist, appeared in court on Tuesday accused of attempting to kill Zakrzewska outside the Inca nightclub. The Metropolitan Police said the attempted murder charge will be upgraded to murder following her death.

Carrington, 29, of Manchester, is also charged with dangerous driving, being nearly twice the drink-drive limit, and causing injuries to two other people – a third woman and a security guard – who were allegedly hit by her Mercedes. She appeared at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 21 April and was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on 19 May.

Detective Chief Inspector Alison Foxwell expressed deepest sympathies to Zakrzewska's family and urged the public to refrain from speculation and sharing graphic footage, which could prejudice future court proceedings. Nearly £18,000 had been raised via GoFundMe for Zakrzewska's treatment and legal fees, set up by her mother Kinga, who described her daughter as having a pure heart and kindness.
