Content creator Ayzia J. Toledo, known to her more than 300,000 followers as Ayzia J, has died at the age of 22 following a single-car crash in New Jersey that also claimed the life of one of her passengers. The accident occurred when the BMW she was driving left the roadway, overturned, and struck a tree, according to New Jersey State Police.
Fatal Collision Claims Two Lives
Authorities confirmed that Toledo and her front-seat passenger, 22-year-old Henrietta Carter, both died in the collision. A third individual, who was seated in the back of the vehicle, sustained only minor injuries and survived. Police have not yet released details on the cause of the crash but stated that an investigation remains ongoing.
Toledo, whose social media profiles described her as a TV personality, model, and content creator, regularly shared lifestyle and fashion content along with travel updates. Her online presence had built a dedicated following across Instagram and TikTok.
Family Launches Fundraiser for Funeral Costs
In the wake of her death, Toledo's family established a GoFundMe campaign to help cover funeral and memorial expenses. The fundraiser describes the 22-year-old as someone who left a lasting impact on those around her, stating: “Ayzia was deeply loved by her family, cherished by her close friends, and admired by many throughout her community. She had a beautiful spirit, a vibrant personality, and a way of making everyone around her feel seen, valued, and loved.”
The family also noted that Toledo had been “building an incredible future” while growing her online platform, adding that her “authenticity, energy and unique light” touched everyone she met. As of the latest update, the fundraiser had raised more than $8,000 toward its $13,000 target.
Fans Pay Tribute Online
Fans have been sharing condolences on Toledo's social media pages, with many posting messages beneath her most recent content. One follower wrote, “Always in our hearts,” while another said, “My heart… I love you so much.” A third comment read, “Rest up beautiful.”
The crash remains under investigation by New Jersey State Police, who have not yet indicated whether any charges or citations are expected.
