Around 400 Palestine Action supporters are expected at a demonstration outside the American Embassy in London, where police have warned they all face arrest.
The protest, due to start at 1pm, is calling for the government to lift its ban on the proscribed group. Expressing support for Palestine Action is an offence under the Terrorism Act after it was proscribed in June 2025.
Police Warning Over Unlawful Gathering
Met Commander Adam Slonecki said anyone providing logistical support to those holding placards can also expect to be arrested at the demonstration. He said: "All those intending on coming to this event know that supporting a proscribed organisation is unlawful – they are essentially meeting to purposefully commit a crime."
Defend Our Juries has announced plans for protesters to hold up signs reading "I oppose genocide, I support Palestine Action".
Supreme Court Hearing Ahead
Defend Our Juries said its latest demonstration comes ahead of a Supreme Court hearing on the Palestine Action ban.
