A human torso has been discovered dumped by a roadside close to a popular holiday hotspot in Spain. The gruesome find was made yesterday morning on an access road near the quarry area of Pinos de Alhaurín, on the edge of Alhaurín de la Torre, a town just outside Malaga on the Costa del Sol.
Investigation and arrest
An investigation has been launched, and the Civil Guard has already arrested one man in connection with the incident, according to Malaga Hoy. Attempts to identify the victim are complicated due to only the torso being found.
The remains are being forensically examined at the Institute of Legal Medicine in Malaga to determine the cause of death and identity. All hypotheses are being considered, including accidental death and third-party involvement.
