
Police in Bristol have launched a major investigation after two suitcases containing human remains were found near the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge. The grim discovery was made by a member of the public, prompting an immediate response from Avon and Somerset Police.
Arrest Made in Connection with Case
A 34-year-old man, identified as Yostin Andres Mosquera, has been arrested on suspicion of murder. Authorities confirmed the arrest took place in the early hours of the morning following the discovery.
Bridge Area Sealed Off
Forensic teams have cordoned off the area around the bridge as they conduct a thorough examination of the scene. The Clifton Suspension Bridge, one of Bristol's most famous landmarks, remains open to the public but police presence in the area has been significantly increased.
