Two teenagers have been charged with murder after a 15-year-old boy was fatally stabbed outside a school in Huddersfield. Khayri McLean died in hospital following the attack on Wednesday afternoon near the entrance to North Huddersfield Trust School in Woodhouse Hill.
The suspects, aged 15 and 16, have also been charged with possession of a bladed article. They have been remanded in custody and are due to appear before Leeds Magistrates' Court on Monday. For legal reasons, their names have not been released.
Floral tributes, candles, and bottles of Yazoo milkshake have been left at the scene in memory of Khayri. West Yorkshire Police confirmed the charges in a statement, noting that both males are from Huddersfield.
