A man has been arrested following a stabbing on a Jubilee Line train at Green Park station, British Transport Police (BTP) have confirmed.

Police and paramedics were called to the station just after 18:45 BST on Tuesday after reports of an attack on a train. Specialist officers arrested a man on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

A person was taken to hospital with injuries, and BTP said the man arrested was in a stable condition. Green Park station was closed while officers dealt with the incident, causing severe delays on the Jubilee Line, according to Transport for London.
