Man Released on Bail After Sexual Assault Arrest in Bolton

A 25-year-old man arrested on suspicion of sexual assault following a disturbance in Bolton has been released on bail, police have confirmed.

Officers were called to Wigan Road on Saturday, July 11, after reports of an incident involving an adult male victim. The suspect was taken into custody for questioning but has since been bailed pending further investigation.

Greater Manchester Police have increased patrols in the area. Chief Inspector Chris Boyd thanked members of the public who assisted prior to the arrest, and urged anyone with concerns to speak with officers.
