A girl has been taken to hospital after being pulled from the water at Torre Abbey Beach in Torquay. Emergency services were called around 9.25pm on Wednesday following reports that a girl was in difficulty in the sea.
Emergency response
Multiple emergency vehicles attended the scene. The girl was treated by paramedics before being transported to hospital. A witness said: "Incident at Torquay seafront. Police, coastguard and ambulance on scene."
