Police are investigating after a 16-year-old girl was grabbed by a man wearing a balaclava in Springburn Park, Glasgow, on Saturday evening.
The teenager managed to break free and run away, calling police after the man tried to snatch her near the boating pond.
Detective Sergeant Larry Dempsey described the incident as a very frightening experience for the girl. He said it is vital to trace the man responsible and that police are reviewing available CCTV footage from the area.

Officers are urging anyone who was in the park on Saturday evening and saw a man in dark clothing acting suspiciously to come forward.
