Woman Claims Ghost of Girl Scratched Her Arm After 'Go Home' Message in Haunted Kansas House

A 42-year-old woman from Oxfordshire says she was scratched by the 'demonic spirit' of a child named Sallie while exploring the infamous Sallie House in Atchison, Kansas. Brocarde, a paranormal investigator, spent the night in the 19th-century home, which is alleged to be haunted by the ghost of a girl who died after a botched operation in the 1900s.

Brocarde described the house as 'eerie as hell' and said it drained her energy. The nursery, filled with toys and dolls arranged in a seance circle, was the most terrifying room. She claimed her legs felt heavy and ached, as if being sucked into the ground.

At about 3am, Brocarde tried to communicate with Sallie using crayons. She said a pink crayon snapped in her hand, then a black crayon she picked up wrote 'Go home' before also breaking. Immediately, she felt a stabbing pain on her arm and found five scratch marks when she pulled back her sleeve.

She then saw the apparition of a young girl 'messy, in a medical gown, distorted' and followed it into a bedroom. Objects flew past her, and a toy dog appeared at the bottom of the stairs. After another trip to the basement, where something grabbed her leg, she decided to leave.

Brocarde has previously made headlines for 'marrying' the ghost of a Victorian soldier, Edwardo, and later divorcing him via exorcism. She continues to explore paranormal phenomena.
