A Florida man has been charged with aggravated battery after a first date took a violent turn when he allegedly ran over his Tinder match's foot with his car following her rejection.
The incident occurred in St. Petersburg, Florida, after 26-year-old Christopher James Sellers met the woman at a local sports bar. According to arrest reports, the encounter turned sour when Sellers made unwanted advances that were refused by his date.

As the woman attempted to leave the establishment, authorities state that Sellers followed her to her vehicle and became increasingly aggressive. The situation escalated dramatically when he allegedly returned to his own car and deliberately drove toward the victim.
"He then got into his vehicle and drove over the victim's foot," stated police officials in their report, noting that the impact caused significant injury to the woman.
