Firefighters are tackling a blaze at a house in Oldham involving a sauna. Crews were called out to George Street in Chadderton, Oldham, at about 6.30pm today.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said that the fire at the property involves a sauna. Fire crews remain at the scene tonight.
Five fire engines called to the scene
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "Shortly after 6.30pm on Sunday 4 October, five fire engines from Oldham, Blackley, Heywood, Hollins and Chadderton fire stations were called to attend a house fire involving a sauna on George Street, Chadderton."
Crews arrived quickly and used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the fire.
Crews remain at the scene
Firefighters are working alongside colleagues from North West Ambulance Service and remain at the scene at this time.
