Firefighters from two stations responded to a garden shed fire in Burry Port on Tuesday afternoon, July 14. Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service sent crews from Llanelli and Kidwelly to the incident at Tanycoed at 2.15pm.
Crews Find Shed Well Alight
Upon arrival, firefighters found the shed "well alight" and immediately deployed two breathing apparatus sets, one hose reel jet, and small gear to bring the blaze under control. The fire was fully extinguished by 2.40pm.
Safety Advice Delivered to Neighbours
After extinguishing the fire, crews visited neighbouring properties to provide fire safety information and guidance, ensuring residents were aware of prevention measures.
