Abigail White, a 24-year-old OnlyFans model, has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of her ex-boyfriend, Bradley Lewis, 22. She stabbed him in the heart with a kitchen knife at their home in Kingswood, near Bristol, on 25 March after he ended their relationship earlier that day.
White initially denied stabbing Lewis but later admitted manslaughter. The jury rejected her claim that she only intended to 'shock and scare' him. She will serve a minimum of 18 years before being eligible for parole.
The court heard that White earned £50,000 in one year from OnlyFans, and she alleged Lewis had been controlling with the money. Their relationship was strained, and Lewis had moved out to stay with his mother. In the days before the killing, White had stabbed him in the arm, and on another occasion, he called a friend saying, 'Help me Sophie, she's trying to kill me.'
On the day of the attack, Lewis told White in a park that he no longer wanted to be with her. They later went to a pub, where White started a fight and threw a drink over a man. After leaving together, she stabbed him minutes after arriving home. A neighbour called 999 after hearing screams and found Lewis on the kitchen floor.
White initially told the neighbour and police that Lewis had injured himself. In court, she said she picked up the knife in anger and upset but did not intend to kill him. A post-mortem revealed a single 7cm-deep wound to the chest that entered his heart.
After sentencing, Lewis's father Steve said the family did not feel they had received justice, adding, 'Brad's death has brought so much sadness.' He thanked those who supported them and said Brad would have told him to stop going on, to which he replied, 'That's my boy.'
