A murder investigation has been launched after a man was found with stab wounds in Epping, Essex. Police believe the victim, who was in his 30s, was discovered injured on Epping Road shortly before 8pm on Tuesday.
Emergency services treated the man at the scene before taking him to hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The Wakes Arms roundabout and surrounding roads remain closed as detectives carry out inquiries.
Commuters have been warned of significant delays and advised to avoid the area. Essex Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact the major crimes team on 101, quoting reference 1191 of 23 June, or email scd.appeals.essex@essex.pnn.police.uk.
