A spokesperson for Merseyside Police confirmed: 'We can confirm that emergency services are in Formby following an incident this afternoon, Monday, May 25. At around 3.30pm, police, the coastguard and NWAS were called to Formby Beach, Albert Road to reports of a concern for the safety of a 15-year-old girl.'
