A major fire has broken out at a recycling centre in Corfe Mullen, Dorset, with thick smoke visible billowing into the sky. Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service has mobilised a large number of crews to the scene.

The fire service said in a statement: "We were called at 2:35am today with reports of a fire at a recycling centre near Candys Lane, Corfe Mullen. Ten pumping appliances are in attendance along with High Volume Pump from Christchurch, Unimog from Wareham, two water carriers and additional support vehicles."
