Cop's Wig Flies Off During Street Arrest in South Korea

A police officer's wig flew off his head while he wrestled an agitated drunk in the street, and a quick-thinking passerby calmly popped it back on. The incident occurred in Busan, South Korea, where three officers were forced to pin down a boozy troublemaker while a fourth held back another angry bystander.

Chaos Turns to Farce

The tense street brawl quickly turned into a farce when one officer's toupee was sent flying into the air during the scuffle. Although the officer immediately noticed his shiny bald head had been exposed, he stayed locked on the job with no free hands to grab his lost locks.

Seeing the officer in distress, an onlooker bent down, scooped up the stray hairpiece and gently set it back on the cop's head. Without missing a beat, the grateful cop patted his toupee back into place and went right back to tackling the unruly suspect.

Viral Reaction

Viral footage of the outrageous slapstick moment has racked up over 1.6 million views on X, leaving social media users in stitches. Others saluted the officers for continuing through the embarrassment.

One local said: "Wow, I spat my food out. Tears are streaming." Another added: "Stick it on properly, lol." "Glad the rug didn't get dirty," joked a third. Another said: "That's something, he gently put the lid back on." "Hahaha, I'm dying. Sorry for laughing, cops work so hard," remarked a fifth.

The police have yet to issue a statement on the viral bust or confirm what happened to the restrained man.
