Police have issued a public appeal and released CCTV footage as they search for a man connected to a reported incident of indecent exposure on a busy bus in Birmingham.

Details of the Birmingham Bus Incident

The alleged event took place on Thursday, October 2, at around 6pm. It occurred aboard the number 74 bus as it was travelling near Hockley Circus, located just north of Birmingham city centre.

In their appeal, West Midlands Police have shared clear images of a man they urgently wish to identify and speak with. The individual is shown wearing a red jacket, a white hoodie, and grey bottoms. In one of the released images, he can be seen holding a can.

Ongoing Police Investigation and Public Appeal

A spokesperson for the force confirmed that a thorough investigation is underway and that officers have been in direct contact with the person who reported the incident.

The police statement reads: "Recognise this man? We’d like to speak to him after a report of indecent exposure on a bus in Birmingham. It happened on the number 74 bus near Hockley Circus, at around 6pm on Thursday, October 2."

Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward. The public can assist the enquiry by calling 101 and quoting the unique crime reference number 20/396603/25.
