British Transport Police have released CCTV images after two women were punched at a nightclub in Newcastle city centre. The incident occurred at Jalou Nightclub on Neville Street and is being investigated by detectives from the British Transport Police.
Incident Details
Police say the incident began when a woman was verbally abused by a man on Saturday, June 27, at around 2.15am. Her friend got involved in an attempt to de-escalate the situation, before it became physical.
The man in question is then said to have punched both of the women in the face, causing them injuries which included extensive bruising and swelling, particularly to their eyes. He is believed to have links to Birmingham.
Appeal for Information
Now, the officers working on this case would like to speak to the man who is pictured above, as they believe that he may have information that could assist them with their investigation.
