Police have released CCTV images of two men they believe may be able to help with an investigation into a serious assault in Glasgow city centre.
A 43-year-old man was attacked on Argyle Street, near Queen Street, at around 11.05pm on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.
Appeal for information
Detectives have now released images of two men they wish to speak to as part of their enquiries.
The first man is described as white and of large build, with mid-length brown hair. He was wearing a blue T-shirt, light-coloured trousers and black trainers.
The second man is described as white and of large build, with short dark-brown hair and stubble. He was wearing a light-coloured shirt, black trousers and black shoes.

Detective Constable John McMahon said: “We believe that these males shown in the images may have information that will assist our investigation, and I would ask that they, or any members of the public who recognise them, contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 3851 of Tuesday, 4 August, 2026.”
