Cardiff Teen Killed In Bike Crash Remembered As Joyful Musician

A 16-year-old boy who died after his bicycle was hit by a car in Cardiff has been described by his family as a 'beacon of joy'. Miracle Oladoyinbo was involved in a collision on Penarth Road at its junction with Clare Road, Grangetown, at 12.27pm on Wednesday, March 25.

The teenager, a talented musician, was riding his bike when it collided with a SsangYong Tivoli. South Wales Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.

In a tribute, Miracle's family said: 'Miracle Oladoyinbo was a beacon of joy and compassion, a 16-year-old whose life was defined by a profound love for God and an unwavering commitment to his faith. A gifted musician, he didn't just play music; he used his talents as a ministry to uplift spirits and bring comfort to everyone around him.'

A memorial has been created at the scene, decorated with flowers, candles, and messages from loved ones. Among the tributes are a school shirt covered with messages from classmates and a 'Class of 2025' hoodie. A mother of one of the boy's friends said: 'I've been crying for three days. Today is the only day when the tears have finally stopped.'
