The victim of a suspected shooting in south London has been identified as Auguste-Marie Bile-aka Amoa, a 25-year-old bus driver. He died after being shot at around 10pm on Willington Road in Clapham on Monday, August 10.
Arrest Made
The Metropolitan Police have arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of murder. He reportedly presented himself at a hospital shortly after the incident with a gunshot injury and remains in hospital under police guard.
Police Appeal
Detective Chief Inspector Claire Guiver, leading the investigation, said: “Our thoughts remain with Bile-aka’s family as they come to terms with this tragic incident. We continue to appeal for anyone with information to come forward. If you were in the area at the time of the shooting, witnessed anything suspicious or have any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage that could assist our investigation, we urge you to get in touch. Any piece of information could prove vital in helping us piece together the full circumstances.”

Witness Account
A local resident, who wished to remain anonymous, told MyLondon they heard two loud bangs coming from Willington Road and then saw a man running away. They described seeing the victim lying on the floor and said they were shaken by the incident.
