A British man wanted for multiple murders has been arrested in Spain after crashing his car. Local police found guns, ammunition, and a silencer in his wrecked Nissan Qashqai on the Costa del Sol.
The alleged hitman reportedly tried to get two Dutch women at a petrol station to buy him cocaine before the crash. He then attempted to flee from police but was arrested in Riviera, between La Cala de Mijas and Marbella.
Spanish newspaper Diario Sur reported that the suspect is linked to one of London's most dangerous crime gangs. Officers seized two pistols, ammunition, a silencer, and a notebook containing names and addresses from his vehicle.
After his arrest, the suspect was handed over to the Spanish Civil Guard and remanded in custody. A Mijas police spokesperson confirmed the arrest, stating the man had a warrant for murder.
