A seven-year-old boy is in a critical condition in hospital after a crash with a car while riding his bike in Northern Ireland.
The youngster was cycling in Coleraine, Co Derry, at around 6.40pm on September 13, when he was involved in a collision with a black Volkswagen Scirocco, the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) said.

Emergency services rushed to Warnocks Lane, where the boy was given medical treatment before being taken to hospital. He remains in a critical but stable condition, reports Belfast Live.
Police have launched an appeal for witnesses and are urging anyone who was travelling in the area to check dashcam or other footage as officers work to establish what happened.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Warnocks Lane which was closed in both directions for a time has now fully reopened to road users. Our enquiries are ongoing today to determine what happened.
“We would ask anyone who was travelling in the area to review dash-cam or other footage they may have captured of the collision and call us on 101 with any information. The reference number is 1271 13/09/26.”
