A five-year-old boy has died after a wall collapsed on him at a crazy golf course in southeast London. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon at Sidcup Family Golf, where the boy was reportedly attending a birthday party.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and the boy was airlifted to hospital, but he later died from his injuries. A six-year-old girl was also injured in the collapse and has since been discharged from hospital.
A spokesperson for Sidcup Family Golf expressed deep sadness and offered condolences to the child's family. They confirmed full cooperation with authorities investigating the incident and said they are providing support to those affected.
The Metropolitan Police are conducting enquiries, and the London Ambulance Service confirmed they treated two children at the scene, one seriously injured, before taking them to hospital.
