A 13-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a fire at a rugby club in Wales that left an 11-year-old child with serious injuries.

Incident at Trimsaran RFC

The blaze broke out on Saturday afternoon at Trimsaran Rugby Football Club, located near Kidwelly in Carmarthenshire. Police believe a storage container used to hold equipment at the club was deliberately set alight, trapping the younger boy inside.

The 11-year-old victim sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. Authorities have not released further details about his condition.
