A body has been found on a beach in the Highlands during the search for a missing woman.
Discovery in Embo
Police received a report of a body having been discovered on a beach in the village of Embo around 10.40am on Sunday, August 30.
The family of Laura McIntosh, who was previously reported missing from Golspie, has been informed.

Missing since August 17
The 58-year-old was last seen around 9.30pm on Monday, August 17 on Little Ferry Road in the village.
Formal identification has still to take place.
Ongoing enquiries
The death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious and enquiries are ongoing.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
